1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Paws Route websites, software, and services (“Service”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Paws Route is provided by Paws Route LLC ("we," "us," "our"). If you are using the Service for a business, you agree on behalf of your business and its authorized users.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age in your state to enter contracts.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
You are responsible for all activity under your account, including access through team members.

3. Service scope

The Service is a companion platform for mobile grooming operations. Current v1 capabilities include offline day pack, manual schedule/route order, map launch links, appointment rescheduling/cancellation tools, and text templates. It is not a full medical system and does not process payroll or perform independent routing optimization.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions are purchased and managed on our website only.
We currently support payments through PayPal. We do not provide in-app payments.
Charges are billed according to the plan selected on the website.
If a payment fails, subscription access may be paused until resolved.

You are responsible for taxes, where applicable. Prices are subject to change with notice as allowed by applicable law.

5. Trial and promotional access

We do not provide a free trial in this version of the Service unless we provide written notice of a limited-time promotional period.

6. User content and customer data

You retain ownership of your client, pet, and scheduling data.
You represent that you have all required permissions to upload and store that data.
Do not use the Service for illegal activity or to store unlawful data.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the Service to transmit malware or unauthorized scripts;
attempt to access systems without authorization;
interfere with or overload the Service;
resell the Service unless authorized through a written agreement.

8. Service availability

While we take reasonable steps to keep the Service available, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance, infrastructure outages, or force majeure events may affect availability.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by U.S. law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the last 12 months.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of business, lost appointments, or data-loss outcomes beyond the fees paid.

10. Health, safety, and vet-related guidance

We do not provide veterinary advice. You remain responsible for decisions regarding pet welfare, medical handling, and legal compliance in your area.

11. Cancellation and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, fail to pay valid charges, or create security risk. On termination, we retain account records as required by law and your data export rights in separate policy terms.

12. Compliance with U.S. laws

We maintain a lawful, commercial relationship with U.S. users and apply U.S. consumer and data-handling practices.
Users in California are provided rights and notice terms consistent with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for applicable personal data interactions.
Electronic commercial communication preferences are handled in accordance with applicable U.S. CAN-SPAM rules.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, technical, or operational updates. We will post the revised version at https://pawsroute.com/terms.php and the new date above. Continued use after updates is your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. SMS Consent

By contacting PawsRoute or requesting grooming services, you agree to receive SMS messages related to your appointment or service request.

These messages may include confirmations, reminders, scheduling links, and service updates.

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP.
